Art Trade WIP

I am doing a trade with Sixrabbit over on Weasyl and my part is the Celtic Goddess Arianrhod. There will be dead warriors, stars and maybe the moon when it is done! 9 x 12, Prisma Color on black paper.

Kitsuna Commission

At Pennsic I was commissioned to do this Kitsuna character in black and white. I decided to do it in sepia/browns instead. "Kaldra". 9 x 12, Acrylic and Prisma Color (just the white in the background)on tan paper. Prints available. Picture 43.

New/Last Doll

OK, the last one for a while at least. I had to have him since my arms in the SCA are a merman and I have always had a thing for mermen and merboys. There is a lot of work needed to make him a finished thing, but here is the blank Soom, siren/merboy I just bought. When I am done he will have a dorsal fin on his head (I hope), hair and shading and will be amazing looking.

War Coronet

For the first time I took all my stuff to make leather coronets with me to Pennsic. Turns out it was a good thing as I ended up doing this one for a gentle from Lochac (Australia). He knew what he wanted and I was lucky the people who sell cabochons are just down the street from my shop and had the large stones I needed. I just hope it holds together, as the extreme heat and humidity made it not want to stay glued. This is Leather, Acrylic and artificial Moonstones and black stones. Number 42

My Shop At War

For the past 31 years I have set up "The Magic Mirror" at Cooper's Lake in PA for 2 weeks and sold art. Sometimes with other artists, sometimes not. This year was mostly me except for a few pieces by my friend and co-owner of the shop, Theddaeus Shaffer, and some tunics and pottery by Anna Kuberth.  Robin brought some premade stuff and crocheted some pouches to sell. It was a good war sales wise, even if it was very slow and sporadic.  This is the latest incarnation of the shop, it has been done with two 10 x 20 carports for the past several years. The rugs are new this year and worked wonderfully. My old rugs were mostly wool and I ended up getting a bad rash from them for the past 2 years. So, here are some pictures of "The Magic Mirror".

Back From War

It was very hot and rained at the worst times. But I needed it and it was good for me. If you don't know what Pennsic is look it up here;

Not 100% accurate but not bad and from a few years ago.
