One of the artists on FurAffinity wanted to buy my "Satyr in Shadow ACEO" but it was one of the 3 pictures that sold at AnthroCon. So I did this as  a replacement. I hope they like it. Back from Anthro Con

Well, I enjoyed spending time with friends but I spend way more than I made and it was mostly a waste of time and money. Anthro art fans apparently don't think my work is good enough so it does not sell! I am planing to go back to doing human based fantasy art primarily! Doing anthro work is fun and I will still do it on occasion, but clearly that fandom is not MY fandom!

Feeling somewhat defeated and down right now. I thought my work was every bit as good as some of the "big names" in anthro art...guess no one else agrees! Name is everything to this fandom and 5 years or more still has not made me a "name" in the fandom, so I need to move on I guess.

OK, I had first hoped to have another erotic picture for AC, but that was not gona happen in the time I had. So then I got this idea and thought, slightly smaller, maybe I could get it done in time for AC...well, with all the prep and a sick cat, I have only gotten this far. So here is a tease, just a small VERY unfinished part of the overall picture. I hope it is as cool as I have in my head when it is done, but for now, this is all you get. Last post before AnthroCon, back Sunday!

Attack of the Flying Foo Dogs

Last night between 11:00 and 12:00 someone threw one of our concrete Foo Dogs threw our front window! I thought the cats had knocked over something when I herd the crash. I went up and looked around and found nothing. The livingroom is a room they can't get in so I did not even look there. I am very shaken up right now! I discovered the broken window and mess this morning, Police have been called.

Police came, they said they got the guy. They said he had done damage to several other homes in our area last night and were pretty sure it was the same guy that smashed our window. I am fine, very shaken, but not hurt. Window/screen and a few other things need replaced.

Miniatures Must Do Miniatures

Well, a friend who does amazing tiny works of art, mostly flowers and bugs, has decided the money is in tattooing. SO, she will no longer be doing and selling the work she is known for in my shop at Pennsic. So now I will have to do the miniatures to try to  keep customers who look for that in my shop and to have enough of what I consider Period (right for the SCA time frame) art in my shop. So, here is the first of what I expect will be many tiny flower and/or bug pictures. "Iris", 2 3/4 x 4 3/4, Acrylic on velum, gold tongues and highlights. I am doing Giclee prints the same size as the original and retouching them with gold. Original and prints for sale. Picture 33.

Raccoon Badge

This is a name badge for someone on Fur Affinity. This is an anthropomorphic raccoon..not that they aren't pretty anthro on their own naturally. Anyway, I was away for a week visiting my mother and did not get as much work done as I had hoped. But I got this done. "Joleii Badge, 4 x 5 Acrylic and Pro White on Canson board. Picture 30.

Not Exactly a Muse Treat

This only took a couple days and while I should be doing other things, this really wanted to be done. SO, while my Muse treats are usually smaller and simpler, this is more of a Muse meal but it took only about the same time as the treats would. I love working on black paper and I love doing Anubis...so here you have "Desert Moonlight", 9 x 12, Acrylic and Prisma Color on Artagain black paper. Original and prints for sale. Picture 29.
