Male Version

Last year I did a picture I was very happy with and I have wanted to do a companion picture to it ever since. I finally got it done and while I am not sure it is as good as the first one, I am happy with it. "Beauties of the East II", 9 x 23, Acrylic, Micron pen, watercolor colored pencil, ProWhite on Canson board. Original and prints for sale. Picture 32.

Black Flame Done Maybe

I guess this is done, I still wonder if I need to do more with the background. "Black Flame", 9 x 12, Micron pen, white gel pen, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on grey toned paper. Original and prints for sale. Picture 30.

Celtic God Test

You are Cernunnos

You are the Lord of the animals and the Wild Hunt. You revel in game sports and may enjoy fishing, shooting or riding. You are peaceful in nature and have a deep love of the outdoors. You also have an affinity with animals and may be a pet owner.

LOL, I took the "What Celtic God Are You? Test on Facebook and this is who I got. Funny in this case they are pretty right as Cernunnos is also known as Hern and all my life he has been one of the main Celtic Gods I identify with. Just look at my art and you will find many Hern pictures.

Not a Rose

Started this as a non specific idea a while back and just got it to an almost finished point. It needs a background and a better name, but may not have time before Pennsic to do more on it.
The working title is "Black Flame", it is 9 x 12, Micron pens, white gel pen, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on grey tones paper. This is still a work in progress.

Copyright Changes??

For more than a year Congress has been holding hearings for the drafting of a brand new US Copyright Act. At its heart is the return of Orphan Works
What does this mean for artists? it means it will make it easier for infringers to steal artists works and harder for people who are making or trying to make a living out of art more difficult. This will effect every artist and all the artwork they have created, are creating, and will be created. Corporates, Big businesses, and publishers want this to pass to make money out off artists works without paying us artists for past, current, and future artwork.
Basic Facts About The Law Being Proposed
 - “The Next Great Copyright Act” would replace all existing copyright law.

 - It would void our Constitutional right to the exclusive control of our work.

 - It would “privilege” the public’s right to use our work.

 - It would “pressure” you to register your work with commercial registries.

 - It would “orphan” unregistered work.

 - It would make orphaned work available for commercial infringement by “good faith” infringers.

 - It would allow others to alter your work and copyright these “derivative works” in their own names.

 - It would affect all visual art: drawings, paintings, sketches, photos, etc.; past, present and future; published and unpublished; domestic and foreign.
** Ways to stop this or preventing these changes from happening**

Camera Issues

Well I have a new picture finished but can not get a picture of  it because my camera batteries are low and I can not find the charger for the stupid thing!

I did a companion piece for my 2014 "Beauties of the East" which was a female figure, this one is "Beauties of the East II" and is a male figure. I am fairly happy with it and hope to be able to take it to Pennsic, but only if I have a good photo of it for prints before I go.

Next Rose Nearly Done

This is the WIP of the Silver Rose window, should have been finished already but today was NOT a good day to try and do anything I wanted to work out.

Another Rose? Really?

You would think the fact that I have to do 19 (yes I have been commissioned to do 6 more on top of the 13 I was originally supposed to do) that I would not want to do roses when I did not have to. But I was inspired to do a miniature and a rose is what I ended up doing. So here is "Pale Rose" ACEO, 2.5 x 3.5, Acrylic on Bristol card. Original and prints for sale. Picture 28.
