Well it is that time of year again, I am off to the wilds of PA to sell art and be medieval. Look up the Pennsic War if you want to know exactly what I will be doing.
Leaving the son home to guard the hose...he is not well enough to go.
See you in 2 weeks.

Reading the comic book "Lady Mechanika" they mention the Arcana Mundi, a hidden world and that made me think I should do a set of art for a book that is all fantastic, mystical or mythical creatures and scenes and call it the Arcana Mundi! Maybe change it slightly to the Arcanum Mundi since it will be a book. So I am posting this here to remind me.

OK, finally done. the idea was always to have him with a feather in front of him. I found the Egyptian hieroglyph that I wanted to use, looked it up and low and behold it was exactly what I should use. It is the symbol maat, it is the feather used by Anubis to weigh against the heart to see if you are worthy once you die. Over all I am pretty pleased with how this came out. "Judgment of Anubis", 16 x 20, Acrylic and Prisma Color on Canson board. SOLD, prints available. Picture 41.

I will be sending the calendar to the printers this week, it goes from August 2016 to August 2017 and once again features my Japanese print style art, most of which was done just for this calendar. They are $20 each plus shipping and will be spiral bound at the top. If you want one email me at Tristan@vampyre-nmp.com or come to my shop "The Magic Mirror" at Pennsic.

Of course that could be my motto or carved on my tomb! But anyway, with only a few weeks till Pennsic and a lot to do, I started this. I plan to have it for sale at Pennsic (IF I get it done). The working title is "Anubis Summoning", but that may well change. It is 16 x 20 on some wonderful smooth black Canson board I found. I still have no idea of what the background will be (been looking), but it will NOT stay black I am sure. Here is the first WIP bad photo of it.

Eyes are still not great but I was able to get this done. I can see the problems caused by my bad vision, but it is done and so I can finish the calendar. "Monkey King Fan", 7 x 14, Acrylic, Micron pen, ProWhite on Canson board. SOLD, prints available. Picture 40.

Well due to diabetes and not being as careful with what I have been eating, my eyes are really doing bad right now. If I don't go blind I will hopefully post some new art tomorrow...I hope I do not lose my sight, if I do there is no reason to live!
