I love doing Inktober but this year since I have been working on things to go in my Imaginings book and they are all ink mostly, I figure I am close to keeping up with a drawing a day for a month. I think I have done 6 or 7 in the month of October and will do more, so no actually Inktober specific work this year.

Shadow Work

This took way longer than I expected it to but several factors contributed to that. It also developed and grew in a way I was not expecting but I really like the end results. There are 2 versions, I scanned it before I added the red so I would have  black and white and a tinted version. Musing on Ttitle Page

I decided to do a portrait of my muse for the title page of the new book I am working on. Of course he gave me fits and I did a ton of work that is now nearly impossible to see.  This was inspired by another artists work, and looks nothing like it. It is heavily Japanese print influenced but not done exactly as a Japanese style print would be.
