Japanese Unicorn

I love all the elements in this I am just not so sure it works as a whole. But anyway, here is an anthro Kirin (Japanese Unicorn) in court robes standing by a waterfall contemplating something. "Kirin in Contemplation", 7 1/2 x 15 1/2 Micron marker, Acrylic, ProWhite on Canson board. Original SOLD.  Prints available. Picture 16.

Fantasy Japanese

I had hoped this would be the first picture I used my new hanko stamp on. A friend made me two lovely stone stamps with my Japanese style signature symbol on it, but I don't have the right ink to use it with yet. So I had to just paint the signature like I have before. This is a strange little fantasy creature I designed. This is "Dragon Bird and Blossoms", 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 Micron marker, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on matt board. Original SOLD.  Prints available. Picture 15.

German Style Coronet

My local SCA group, the Barony of the Bright Hills www.brighthills.net will be getting a new Baron and Baroness in a few weeks and I am making new coronets for them. Since they have German personas I tried to do something German inspired. This is just the first one (they will match but one is larger than the other). While I am pleased with the design, it is a real pain since I have to paint 12 eagles and 12 tiny versions of my Baronies Arms. Leather and Acrylic paint with artificial jewels and pearls.  14

Easter Bunny

This is another of my small Japanese print style pictures. I decided that since I made it a rabbit and with the colors I used on the kimono, it was an Easter bunny. "Isuta no Usagi", 4 1/2 x 10 1/2, Micron marker, Acrylic, watercolor colored pencil and ProWhite on Canson board. Original and printys for sale. Picture 13.
