So, I have been seeing al this stuff about Spring...Winter just started on the calendar. So why is it that we always want what is next and not what is now? When it is Winter, we want Spring and then Spring comes and we can't wait till Summer! Then Summer makes us long for Fall and the we look forward to snow and Winter! Humans have LOST the ability to live in the NOW and appreciate what you have NOW! This minute, this hour, this day is ALL there is! Tomarrow may never come! Stop wishing your life away and live NOW!

I have been working, just not on anything I could post yet. Here is a rough of the character from a book cover I am doing. I will give more details and show the final cover if/when the author/customer says I can. This is the 5th sketch trying to get the pose and character correct...still not quite there I think.

I have been missing seeing new pictures of my grandson since his mom had not posted anything since before the new year started. Today she posted this cute picture with the comment; "Why is my son so awesome he didn't want to wear clothes but he wanted to wear regular underwear ill take it". He is SO cute and every picture I see of him makes me smile. I just hope someday I get to meet him in person!

Back in 2000 I did a large painting on canvas, 30 x 40. Every time i tried to get a good picture of it something was wrong, off, had a flash spot or otherwise was not good. I got a new camera in September but just remembered I could try getting a picture of this painting with it to see if it was better than the other tries. It is! So here is a good version of "Hern in the River of Time". Original and prints for sale!
OK, I cleared everything off so I could get started making this more finished and room like. I made this out of 2 sets of bi fold doors. One door for each side and the other 2 equally cut to make the shelves and top. This is completely bare and unfinished but it will have rugs, wall paper, furniture etc. It has a Masonite back and is on rolling casters.
