I have done several Japanese print style pictures in the past and they sell well. I need to have some for Balticon at the end of May and this is my first of the year. It is ok, seems a bit off to me somehow but I love parts of it. "Spring Meeting", 10 x 22 Micron pen, Acrylic and Pro White on Canson board. Original and prints for sale. Picture 7.

Since I have been ill and have also been very emotionally upset, working on art that I had to do and needed to concentrate on and get right was just not possible. So I had sort of started this before I got sick and was able to work on it on and off even while sick and upset because it had no requirements, did not have to be anything for anyone and so had no pressure to get it right. SO, I had found these odd plaques at Micheal's and bought one. I have no idea what they are made of, but painting on it was like painting on plaster. If I do another, I will maybe gesso it first and see if that makes painting on it easier. "Elven Prince, The Golden Shield" is approx. 10 1/2 x 6, Acrylic gold metallic Latex paint and Micron marker. Original and prints for sale. Picture 6.
I just got my copy of "Gods of Crystal, Gods of Dreams" and I have to say it is always wonderful to see your work on a book cover! This looks wonderful and I am thrilled to have gotten to do this and look forward to doing the next one for her.

Well, between 12:30 and 1:00 this morning we lost Eros, a sweet and loving 6 year old cat. He had an attack and could not breath, seemed to have alot of fluid in his system! Don and I sat with him through the end. We are both crying and can't sleep now!

I loved the movie "Night Breed" and did this way back in 1992. It is the "God" of the Night Breed as depicted in the movie, well his head anyway. This was an early experiment with Prisma Colors on black Canson board, with a little Acrylic (the whitest whites). This was about 8 1/2 x 5 I think. Prints available.

I started this years ago, maybe 13 or so years ago an I had not finished it until now. It was originally an arch shape and was going to go over one of our doors and blend with the stonework I have done on the walls. But it is now without a purpose that I am sure of. I have some ideas but I really do not know what I will end up doing with it. This started as grey heavy duty art paper, I then used Latex house paint (the same stuff I marbleized our living room and hall walls with) and then started doing this. Based on a black chalk, pen and brown ink and brown wash drawing by Francesco Primaticcio from the 1500's. So here is "The Nile Frieze", aprox 9 x 15, Latex paint, Acrylics, Prisma Color and Micron pen. The dark grey area is computer added to mark off the painted area. I will cut it out in the stone colored shape. Prints available. Picture 5.

I expect I may have posted this before but it did not come up in a search so here is one of the feathers I painted way back in 1997. It is maybe 3 inches long and is Acrylic on a found bird feather, sparrow I think. "Green Djin". Prints available.
