Waste Of Time

Well, the BIG Balticon 50th anniversary with George R.R. Martin as guest of honor was a BUST!
I did very very poorly sales wise. The new hotel was horrible, And over all I doubt I will ever attend another convention! I am questioning why I even bother to do art at all!  If no one wants what I make then WHY am I wasting my time doing it? Very angry and depressed!

Time Bug

This is a clock face, the idea is both Steampunk and nature study (sorta). I love how a lot of this came out, I may have to try it again sometime. This goes in a small table top clock and the red jewel in the center (clipped and added with photoshop to cover the hole) is where the clock works come through and the arms radiate from. Feeling Blue

Here is my next picture for Balticon, another female. I am fairly happy with how she came out. I am a special kind of crazy though, I did a million tiny circles on the wings that I am sure NO ONE will ever really notice, but it was what I though it needed. "Blue Faerie", 10 x 18, Acrylic, ProWhite, watercolor colored pencil, Micron pen on Canson board. More Steampunk

Another small strange picture with a somewhat steampunk theme. I have a small ornate metal frame with a slightly domed glass and did this to fit that. Bird Talk

Here is the next small Japanese print style picture made to fit in one of  the nice little bamboo look frame I got and used for "Kintaro". Steampunk Fairytail

Little Japanese

I found 2 nice little frames at Goodwill that had a bamboo look and so I am doing some small Japanese print style pictures to go in them. This is the first one; "Kintaro", 6 x 8 1/4, Micron pen, Acrylic, Watercolor colored pencil on Canson board. Original and prints for sale. Picture 21.

Clock No Clock

Japanese Time

I am doing a clock with Japanese style art, I have a lovely deep box/frame black with gold inside edge that this will be set in and it will have clock works and numbers. Dragon Clock WIP.
