Lion God Finished

I finally finished the Nefertem picture.He is the Egyptian God of Perfume and the sun rise and is sometimes shown as a lion headed God (his mother is Sekmet, she is lion headed as well). I am pretty happy with it and I like the background...so, here is "Nefertem Anointing", 12 1/4 x 14 1/2, Acrylic, watercolor colored pencil on Canson board. Original and prints available for sale. Picture 33.

    Beautiful! I love the colors and the Egyptian twilight.
    I like the way the sphinx has a man's head and a lion body but the god has a man's body and a lion head.

    I wish I could do something like this.
