Not Horsing Around
OK, I have a commission for a "cover" for a story and I am doing two centaur characters. After all my commissions for one person lately, I am now used to scanning the art at different stages and getting the person I am doing the art for's opinion before going further. I think I am making the person who wants this picture crazy with questions! LOL Ah well, I will see how it all works out. Anyway, here is the Prince and the bodyguard stage 2. The two tone look is due to a scanner that seems to have issues...it is all the same color realy.

I like the one on the right. His face and expression are more "alien" than most hybrid creatures I see. It makes me think about what kind of psychology a centaur would really have, especially a stallion. I also like the mane-like "mohawk" hair that extends down his back.
