New Book Cover Ideas

OK, even though I have not sold even one copy of my Faerie book yet, I am working on my next book. This one is Mermen, and I am calling it Sons of the Sea. I have started a new picture that if it comes out might be what I use for the cover. But these two are pictures I already had done that I thought of for the cover originaly. So I would like to get feedback from anyone reading this on which you think works best as a cover.

    It took me a while to figure out what was going on in the left hand image, but I finally saw that it was a merman freeing a dolphin from a fishing net. I like the theme and the image.

    I also like the message of the one on the left, but the one on the right would be the one that would catch my eye as a cover because of the sense of mysticism.

    Poseidon and Triton 1990 page 88 in your Manmagic book would be
    the best cover. You could take out the swim wear and scroll words above
    the picture.
