Not To Boaring I Hope

The next picture in my Japanese print inspired series. I found a wonderful painting of a boar on a Japanese scroll and just had to do something inspired by it. One observation I made while doing the body and armor is how  similar the Samurai armor and outfit is to the German landsknecht! Having  drawn/painted both there really is a strange similarity in form and style. "Boar Samurai", 6 3/4 x 14, Acrylic, Micron pen, ProWhite and watercolor colored pencil on Canson board.
