A Friends Work

Since I have allot to do before Pennsic and it is too hot to do even that, I doubt I will be posting any new art before I get back from War. So here is one of the paintings done by my friend Theddy. He sold the original at AnthroCon  a few weeks ago but prints are available through me (acting as his agent). It is a map done in Australian Aboriginal style, can you guess where in the US this is? "Gathering of the Animals" by http://www.furaffinity.net/user/akirashima/ (I don't remember the original size, something like 3 x 2 feet), Acrylic on board (I think).

Larger Miniature

After the last 4 pictures I almost hesitate to call this a miniature. When I started it I thought it would be my smallest person...but then I noticed the picture setting on the shelf over the computer, a baby Hercules fighting a snake (done back in 1999) , it is a little over an inch wide and about 2 inches tall...so this is FAR from my smallest person. Anyway, This was inspired by works from the 1500's. The figure was inspired by Bonifazio Veronese's, Madonna and Child with Saints. And the background was inspired by Hieronymus Bosh's, The Garden of Delights.  "Bless the World", 4 x 5 inches, Egg Tempera (with a small bit of Acrylic and Pro White) on velum (the skin not the paper). Cthulhu Keepsake

Here is my second to tiny painting for a locket. I am happier with this than with the Faerie. "Cthulhu Locket Portrait", Acrylic and Pro White on Bristol. This is 1 2/8 x 5/8 of an inch approx. (that is the area I fit the actual painted part into). SOLD,  in silver colored rectangular locket! Picture 37.
