Hibbary http://www.furaffinity.net/user/hibbary/ did the great drawing on the left and allowed me to color it...well, in this case I sorta went off in my own direction. The original drawing had nothing to indicate the theme I came up with. But I really like how it came out. The concept of this was inspired by Medieval works. the background was inspired by illuminations from a 15th century book of hours. "Knight of Hearts", 8 1/2 x 11, Acrylic, Copic and Micron marker on print. 59

Collaboration of Sorts
On FurAffinity there is a wonderful artist called Hibbary, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/hibbary/ she (I am pretty sure it's a she) allowed me to color some of her work and this is the first. I have no name for this picture yet, the original and prints are for sale. I printed out the drawing and added the background and color. The black in the background is done with copic marker, the rest of the color is Acrylic. * 1/2 x 11, Acrylic and copic marker on photoprint paper. 57

Cage Fight 2
Well I finally finished the second cage fighters picture commission. I am fairly happy with it and unless the person who commissioned it wants changes, it's done! "Cage Fighters 2", 8 1/2 x 11, Acrylic on Canson board. Prints available. Picture 56.
The next picture will most likely be a collaboration of sorts. I have permission from one of the artists I like on FurAffinity to finish/color some of their sketches. So the next pic I hope to post will be one of these.

New 20 Year Old Picture
It seems odd to put a 2010 copyright on this since I started it maybe 20 years ago. Some time back I think I posted the name badge I did for my husband with his face and a wolf head. That was at least 20 years ago I am sure that I did that picture. Well, this picture was the first attempt but didn't look like him and the wolf looked to dog like, so I stoped working on it. Recently while cleaning out an old box I found the maybe half done picture that I had not thrown out and decided I liked it enough to finish it. So here is "Companions", 3 x 4, Acrylic and copic marker on watercolor paper. Even though it was started along time ago, it is now picture 55 done this year. Original for sale!
Substitute Art
I am working on several things at once and one of them is the new book "Faerie Dust". Looking for art for it I found a bad photo of a picture I did in 2000. I really like the picture but the photo quality is just not good enough to use.
Since I have a black and white line scan of this picture done before color was added to the original, I decided to do a hand colored print. I printed the black and white line work picture out and then painted that print. So here is "Oberon's Guard", 8 1/2 x 11 hand colored print, Acrylic on cardstock. I hope to have the finished Cage Fighters sequel and maybe another small picture done very soon.

Sea & Sky
(I hope I didn;t post this already)
A few years ago on a panel at a Con we asked what people wanted to see, they said more male male affection (not porn or sex but affection). So I did this up quickly and lo and behold, it sold as fast as it was up. Roughly 4 x 10 on mottled matt board scrap. Prisma color and Acrylic.
Inspired by the old saying "A bird and a fish may fall in love, but where would they live?"
