I loved the way this came out and had planed to do more in this style but I still haven't and this was done in 1996... Anyway, I like the look and will maybe do more someday. "Starlight", white Prisma color on black paper, 8 1/2 x 11.
I'm assuming the later black-and-white is inspired by the desire to do more like this someday? :) I have to say, again, how much I enjoy your light-on-dark work. In part, I suppose this is because I don't think that I could do it myself, so I admire yours all the more. The play of light on the body, for one, but also the aura of mystery that surrounds a figure partially clothed in darkness, gets my imagination turning. :)
