To Much is Never Enough

A friend, asked me to do a black and white picture for her husband...I wanted to do color instead. I gave her a price and she said it was perfect...so I then proceeded to add 10 people to the picture! So here is what was originally to be a simple black and white anthro portrait. "Animal Weretiger, Battle", 8 1/2 x 11, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on Canson board. Picture 13.

  1. Completely amazing. I see something new and awesome each time I look. The best thing is to see him striding away from a group of fighters as if they were of no concern to him!

  2. Well, I know Animal, he is "in your face" so he comes after you, not waiting to fight with the masses! LOL

  3. Well it a good picture and looks like one of the fight scenes from some movie where the hero is running to the head of the battle to fight the main villian and leading to a massive battle. In my opinion but it might just be the angle I'm looking at, it seems the head of the creature is a little small for the body. Tigers are mighty creatures and have one of the largest heads of the big cat family so...( there goes my ego-know it all brain again)

  4. Andy, the problem with doing the head bigger is it makes the body look small, and as this is sort of a portrait of a friend in his anthro form, and as he is a BIG guy, I needed to be sure the body/figure looked large enough! But I appreciate your input. I have recently (see several new pics) been studying Tigers alot, so I am well aware of their proportions etc. :)
