Pyramania

OK, my friend Pyracantha, who I did the "Lava Child" art card for, wanted his hair to be orange and that ain't happening. I like how he looks and don't like to alter art majorly after I consider it finished. Soooo, because she is a good friend, I did a second art card for her. This time it is "Vulcan" the Roman God of Fire, the forge and volcanoes (which I still think should be spelled vulcanoes...I mean it is named after Vulcan not Volcan). While not easy to tell, the background on this is Mt Etna, the mythical home of Vulcan. So here is my 59th picture for the year. "Vulcan" 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 , Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on Bristol art card.
