Elf with a Woody

Bird is the Word

Sing a Song of Winter

A short while back I did a Unicorn picture that may be one of our holiday cards this year and haveing decided that I wanted another design that would go with it as our second card design (I always do at least 2 card designs). Proof of Insanity

Betteer Late Than Never

This would have been done a week ago but the blue marker I was useing died on me and the store was OUT of it so I had to order it online and just got it today. I really like how this came out, the Unicorn is NOT based on a horse at all and is much more like I learned a Unicorn should look like back before the great Unicorn craze made every hourse with a horn a "Unicorn". Another Useless Effort

Beauty Is Subjective

No Inktober

I love doing Inktober but this year since I have been working on things to go in my Imaginings book and they are all ink mostly, I figure I am close to keeping up with a drawing a day for a month. I think I have done 6 or 7 in the month of October and will do more, so no actually Inktober specific work this year.

He Always Wins

Death is inevitable, no one can win against it. In the Middle Ages people were more than aware of this and with plauges and death being common place they often depicted Death in their art. Shadow Work

This took way longer than I expected it to but several factors contributed to that. It also developed and grew in a way I was not expecting but I really like the end results. There are 2 versions, I scanned it before I added the red so I would have  black and white and a tinted version. My Favorite Albino

Every so often I feel the urge to do a picture of Elric of Melnibone. I seldom capture him to my satisfaction, but I keep trying. Android Insanity

Musing on Ttitle Page

I decided to do a portrait of my muse for the title page of the new book I am working on. Of course he gave me fits and I did a ton of work that is now nearly impossible to see. I know the Muses were the 7 daughters of Zeus in Greek Legend BUT, my personal muse takes the form of an 8 year old boy and he is a brat.  "The Brat" roughly 7 1/2 x 9, Micron pens, White gel pens, and Acrylic on tan paper. Japaneque

 This was inspired by another artists work, and looks nothing like it. It is heavily Japanese print influenced but not done exactly as a Japanese style print would be. Another Useless Picture

I had a concept and a couple ideas for how to make it work. I worked for months on this on and off...It did NOT come out the way I had hoped. I can only hope someone will eventually buy it.
