New Coronet Finished

OK, now it is done (well not really, as of this posting I still have to add the pattern to the rest of the coronet). They had wanted these (2 of them) by this weekend but due to a root canal, I will not have them done in time. Leather, Acrylics and imitation stones, 23 inches x 2 1/2.    9

New Coronet WIP 2

Almost done except for the very tiny and detailed laurel and sea serpent that goes on each of the blue circles. Then I have to do another just like it only slightly bigger.

Finished Color

Here is the finished colored version of "Sensual Uniboy" by https://www.weasyl.com/~venomoussoliloquy . I am fairly pleased with it. I think the purple works on the curtains and doing the pattern on the couch was to get a Victorian feel was fun and I think it worked. This is roughly 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 printed on Canson paper and then painted with acrylics and a tiny bit of Prisma Color. Picture 8.

Coloring Others Work

I found this lovely line work on Weasyl by https://www.weasyl.com/~venomoussoliloquy and was given permission to do my own coloring on it. This is how it has gone so far. I like it but can not decide what color to do the curtains. It is 8 1/2 x 9 1/2, Acrylic, copic marker (for the design on the couch)  on Canson paper. Any suggestions on the curtain colors would be appreciated.

Old New Collaboration Finished

I could keep adding layers to this but I need to stop. Hope the Qzarr who did the wonderful drawing of the figure likes what I did with it. "Ketsuna, Mountain Path", 8 1/2 x 11 1/2, Micron pen, Acrylic and ProWhite. If he allows prints will be available. Copyright Qzarr and me. Picture 7.

Old New Collaboration

Thank goodness I now know who did the lovely sketch that I inked and have now started coloring, he is from Germany and his name is Qzurr https://www.weasyl.com/~qzurr . I have lots to do still and so will only give a small tease of the WIP. "Ketsuna, Mountain Path", 8 1/2 x 11, Micron marker and Acrylic on drawing paper.

New Elf

Here is my newest BJD, he is a Kid Delf and is 16 1/2 inches tall. His eyes are not standard but my own doing (using jewels not designed as eyes), he may end up with something different but right now I like these. He still has no name (suggestions are welcome). I want something unique, he is an elf after all. I already have Aidan, Ian, Trevi, Tyr and Leaf (he is the tiny one).

Trade Finished

I love this character, she is so cool looking and I am so glad that https://www.weasyl.com/~sparkyopteryx allowed me to do this for him as my part of the trade. This is part of the description I was given for her "... Like any melusine, she's a sea siren that can foretell death and fortune." The background is much more a smooth color but the paper got wavy because of being painted and the scanner picked it up and make s it look mottled.
He is doing me a cool bat person as his part of the trade!
This was a lot of fun and I may ask to be allowed to do more of her. "Pellusa's Vision", 9 x 12, Acrylic and Micron pen on grey paper. Prints available. Picture 6.

Rough Trade Now with Color

My trade continues, the color is far from done but I wanted to send an update to the person I am trading with before I get to far done.

Rough Trade Not So Rough

OK, here is the 3rd step (yes I know I skipped step 2) actually this is more like 3 1/2 to 4 but oh well. I really love this character, she is so cool and if I get her markings right she will be even more amazing! I hope the person I am doing it for likes it as much as I do. This is partly cut off since it is 9 x 12 and just a bit to large for my scanner. Micron pen and Acrylic on grey paper.

Rough Trade

Months ago I agreed to do an art trade with a really cool artist over on Weasyl, he did a wonderful rough sketch for his part and waited on my sketch... he gave me a cool bird lady character to draw for him. But, I just could not seems to get into her. So after months of waiting he gave me a new character to do for him, she is much more up my ally. Here is the very rough first sketch for him of his Pellusa  character. Pencil on grey paper, 9 x 12.

Collaboration Conundrum

Several years ago, maybe 3 or more, I asked and was given a lovely sketch to ink and color (and add a background to). I have finally gotten started on it and have one small problem, I have NO clue who did the sketch!! I need to know so I can give them proper credit and show them the end results, but I have NO idea who it was. IF this style looks familiar and you know who did the sketch, please let me know!

New Project Color

I so wanted to do a color version and had not heard from the person who commissioned this so I make a copy and painted it! Not as dramatic as I had first envisioned but I like it. If it is printed with a color background, something dark, it should pop very well. "Ice and Fire Color", 6 1/2 x 6 1/2, Acrylic, watercolor colored pencil and a tiny bit of ProWhite on print. Picture 6.

Silver and Blue Diamond

Here is a coronet I was commissioned to do, it is based on the Gold and Garnet coronet I did a while back. The lady wanted it larger than the Gold and garnet one and she wanted it in silver and with blue stones. "Silver and Blue Diamond Coronet", 23 inches around, Leather, Acrylic and artificial stones. Number 5.

New Project Part 2

Here is the line work for the approved logo. I will be doing shading and other stuff (adding lettering) after I make some copies so I don't mess up the original of the line work.

New Project

Since I am not sure how much of this I can share I will just say I have been commissioned to do a logo for a con and this is the rough idea. "Ice and Fire", 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 pencil.

Leather Laurel

I was commissioned to do a leather laurel for a friend. This is not how I had hopped it would turn out. I will be doing another for him, but he waited so long for this one I will send it to him so he has something now. It is a bit over 23 inches around, cut and painted leather. Number 4
