Non SCA Coronets

I did these earlier in the year but never got them posted here. They range from 21 1/2 (which had to be fixed by adding an inch after it was done and sent) to 24 (I think.) All are leather with Acrylic paint, metalic paint and artificial jewels. These were all commisioned for a non SCA medivalist group. Piece 40, 41, 42, 43, 44.

Back from War

Well Pennsic 49 finally happened after a 2 year delay. It was smaller than normal but good. Sales were amazing, I sold more than I ever have with only 7000 and some people I was happily surprised! Weather was hot the first week and rainy a few days but nice the last week. I sold 3 large banners, more than normal and had many positive reactions to many pictures. Next year being Pennsic 50 could be insane or disapointing...banner years are hard to predict.

A friend commissioned a turban pin, Laurel (SCA highest arts award) for a friend. It was supposed to be in a Morrish style. After much research, this is the best I could come up with. Sometimes I get started on a picture and soon wonder why I started it. While I love the end result, this sort of picture is such a pain to do. Wild Art
