Newest Boy

Here is a close-up of my newest boys face, strange makeup but I like it. The dark looking spots are actually silver. Will have to make him smile a bit, he doesn't look very happy right now. Still working on his name.

Newest Boys

I have already posted pics of the Fox boy and the little Satyr, but now they have manes and I have a new boy that still needs a name. The Fox boy is Dionysus, the Satyr boy is Komos and the boy between them (who now has some strange face makeup I tried and kind of like, not a great picture but I am a terrible photographer)  needs body blushing and is very new to me. I am leaning towards an exotic name but nothing has stuck yet. Anyway, here are the newest members of my BJD clan.

 

I WANT TO ART!!

I so want to do art, I have a ton of ideas and I owe people art and want to get to them ASAP but for many reasons I am just not being able! Worry about my son, numbness in mu left hand and down my left arm (I think it is a pinched nerve since my neck is still in pain). Lots of stained glass roses to do, art for myself and for up coming cons....just can NOT get anything done!! :(

Bad Birthday News

Well, tomorrow is my birthday but we just found out that my son has cancer. Breast cancer of all things. He is understandably a wreck over it and even more so since he has not been allowed by his ex to have any contact with his son. I have some good understanding of how he is feeling having had cancer, being scared to death I was going to die and not knowing where my son was or even if he was alive. 

I think there is a good chance he can get through this and be fine but his depression and mental state is not good and again, I fully understand it! He thinks he is going to die.

Naked Boys

Well what do you do when you have a bunch of little boys and not enough clothes, you let them go naked. Most parents know that between 2 and 5 it is hard to keep some kids in clothes. My BJD boys seem to prefer nude to clothed and since I don't yet have enough clothing for them all it just seemed right to let them be nude. This is all of my smaller boys except my little satyr, he still needs some work but will soon have a name nailed down and be ready for public viewing.

 

Laurel Coronet

This is the newest coronet I was commissioned to do. It is for Bishop Jeffrey (sp) an old friend who requested a simple silver coronet with green square stones (I suggested the laurels and he agreed).
