Inktober 6, Way Behind

Well I am now 4 days behind on Inktober, maybe I will catch up maybe not. Here is Inktober 6, "Demon Seed", 9 x 12, Micron pens and white Gel Pen on Tan paper. Original and prints available. picture 40.

Inktober 5

I am happy with this one even though it is simple. Done for Inktober, almost caught up. "Raven in Circle", 4 4/5 x 5 1/2, Micron Pen, White Gel pen and Ink wash on Canson board. Original and prints available. Picture 39.

Inktober 4

Part of a commission I got at Pennsic. I will be doing a second one like this because this is just not as good as I feel I can do it. The finished picture will be colored.  Rampant Gryphon. 9 x 12, Micron pen on Bristol. Picture 38.

The last of the Undines this is a Double rose based on a page from the Mira calligraphiae monumenta. This is about 3 1/2 x 5, Acrylic on velum (skin not paper.) Picture 37.

 

 

 

Inktober 3

Finally done with Undines and now trying to do Inktober for real. This will be colored but for now the ink only part, inspired by Japanese prints. "Bat with Maple Leaves", 3 1/4 x 8, Micron pen on Canson board. Finished color version, Micron pen, watercolor colored pencil and a tiny bit of Acrylic, below inked version. Picture 36.

This is another small Undine scroll (soon to have calligraphy) and it is my second Inktober picture.

Undine (part 3) Inktober 1

OK, this will have color very soon but as I want to do Inktober and this is all inked I thought I would kill two birds etc. This is a Mermaid (Undine) inspired by one from the Hours of Yolande of Finland, 1555-56. Micorn pens on velum (skin not paper), 5 x 7. ( Finished color version with Acrylic and ProWhite). Picture 34
