New Coronet Started

My SCA Barony will soon get a new baron and Baroness and I will be making leather coronets for them. They have German persona's and so I am doing this German Eagle inspired design. This is a very rough sketch, the finished product will have symmetrical wings and tail and will be black on gold with silver top ,bottom and sides.

OK, here is my latest picture, Morifinda Calimaharme (that is Elvish for Black Haired, Bright Treasure) . It is 12 x 12 Acrylic, Pro White and a tiny bit of watercolor colored pencil on Canson board. Original and prints for sale. The background is very Froud inspired and was fun to do. Picture 12.

I am never happy with my first try on these trades, so here is the second sketch for my trade picture.

Satyr Trade

Finished Snake Pic

Well, for whatever reason, the computer now reads my camera memory card, so here is the finished picture I have been working on. This is a so so photo and I will get a better one out in the sun soon so I can do prints of this. After many ideas and no great ones I guess I am calling this "Summoning the Great Serpent", it is 19 1/2 x 16, Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil and ProWhite on Canson board. Original SOLD. Finished BUT...

Well the serpent picture is finished but for some reason my computer is not recognizing my cameras memory card so I can't download it and post it! I will hopefully get that figured out tomorrow.

Next WIP

The colors are still a bit off in this photo but overall I hope it gives a good enough idea. The red on the tights is much brighter and the light green feathers are more yellow. Anyway, I now have some idea for the background (if I go with it) and still need a better title. Elf and Winged Serpent WIP2.
