Better Late Than Never
I started this quite a while ago, I don't remember exactly when but it has been several months at least. I finally got some inspiration and so have it finished. I had originally thought it would be a lot more Froud like, but that is not how it went. "In the Faerie Realm", 11 x 15, Acrylic, Micron pen, watercolor colored pencil, ProWhite on Canson board. Original and prints for sale. Picture 19.

I like the use of pale blue as the shadow color on the elf's skin. It makes him look more ethereal. It looks like he is stepping on an amphibian's head with his right foot, with more frogs (?) hiding in the roots of the tree. Is this a juxtaposition of aerial faeries and earthly creepy crawlers?
