Intober 3

Nothing is working, I am so disappointed and frustrated. Here is an attempt at an inkwash study of the youngest son of a friend of mine. "River study", 6 x 7, India ink wash and prowhite on tan paper. Picture 35.

    What's wrong? I think the kid's adorable and you handled the inkwash modeling beautifully. I haven't seen you do portraits of real people. Excellent work!

    I have done several portraits of real people. And the problem is it doesn't look like the kid I was drawing. But thanks.
