Named and Finished

Well I got no help on here for names for this. But I finally found something I like and have finished this in time for Balticon. The pattern on the kimono only proves my insanity! The title is Japanese in feel and has multiple meanings. "Flowers Fall" (the end comes), 8 x 16, Acrylic, Micron marker and Pro White on Canson board. Original SOLD at Balticon. Prints available. Picture 27.

  1. I bought this! I was one of the people looking through your portfolios, dithering for a while. I especially like your Egyptian and Oriental themed work, but I had to remind myself that admiring a piece and looking at it every day were different.

When I got to the art show I fell in love with this and put my name on it. Fortunately for me (not you, I know) nobody else bid, so it didn't go to auction and I could afford it.

It's in my living room and looks awesome with the chinoiserie cabinet. I hope I can pick up a companion piece sometime.

And yes, after looking at the pattern on the kimono, I did marvel at the amount of work that went into it.
