Tiger Contest

So, this will change alot as it is in an intermediate stage right now. All the basic shading and markings are done but then I painted a white was over it all (since he is a white tiger). I will go in and darken the stripes and add brighter highlights etc. next. Oh, and of course a background...This is my first entry for a contest being held by someone on FA. 8 1/2 x 11 Acrylic on Canson board.

    Noyt sure why you can't..maybe we should spend a few hours at Darkover painting together?

    What a great idea! Let's submit that as a scheduled workshop for the program items, and invite people to watch as art is being made.

    Pyr, do you think we can get a large enough block of time? 2 to 3 hours? Live models are great but I don't think it would work best for this.

    It wouldn't take too long, we only would need an hour. The "Draw-off" could be done from an enlarged photograph. You and I would draw the same figure and comment as we went along, while people watched. And you could demonstrate your process of turning a basic human pose into a fantasy being pose.
