Well, since Endeavor Printing did such a great job on "Animalia" and "Bestiary" (plus the Pennsic to Pennsic Calendar) I hope to print many more books (once I have the money to do so). Among the books I plan is one with a Fairy theme. This is the cover idea I have for it. What does anyone think of the cover?
I like it but he makes me hungry... looks like some fancy chocolate figurine holding a pot of honey.
ReplyDeleteI suggest that you change the typeface of your title, "Faerie Dust." The type needs to be stronger and more visible. I find it hard to read and also, with the "D" crossed by the left antenna of the faerie figure, it looks like a "P" which would read "Faerie Pust." Faerie Pust? I hope not.

ReplyDeleteThe lettering for the title gets lost in the background in spots. One thought is to go with lettering that has a dark (or light) coloring and then have the letters oulined in a strongly contrasting color. If you have letters that are all a light color or all a dark color, it may be hard to not have some part of them blend into the picture.
